First-time central heating is being offered by UK Government ECO4 scheme. The grant provides a FREE central heating system, including A-rated new boiler of Valliant or Worcester Bosch brand, pipework, radiators, TRVs, and room thermostat in addition to other energy-efficient home improvements. People who live in low-energy electric heating properties will save their energy bills by getting the First Time Central Heating grant 100 % free. No repayments.

Homeowners and private tenants can get the grant for which the applicant must be one of the ECO4 Qualifying benefit recipient, in addition to outcome of the Energy efficiency report of the property that must meet the qualifying energy band. For private tenants, permission from the landlord or letting agent is compulsory.
